Crew Attends week long class at the State Fire Academy

A crew of 5 members attended a week long class last week at the State Fire Academy in Lewistown. The class, Engine Company Operations at Residential Stuctures, formerly Structure 1, focuses on being a very productive, and aggressive engine company. They stress the importance of riding assignments, and training. Crews were able to make hydrant connections, lay out, make the pump connections, and stretch two 1 3/4 inch handlines, one to the basement, one to the attic, in just over 3 minutes. A great time was had by all that attended, and anyone that ever has to opportunity to attend, should. Special thanks go out to Instructors Pat Pauley, Fred Hunsinger, Ron Coleman, Chief Aulisio, and Commissioner Mann for the well organized, high speed, and very aggressive and progressive class. We appreciate the opportunity to attend, and we will be back in the future!!!
