Company 247 is located at 235 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. The firehouse was first purchased in 1943 as a plot of land and has remained in the same place ever since. Throughout the years, the firehouse has been renovated and expanded numerous times to expand the capabilities of the Company. Currently, the firehouse has five bays to house the Engine, Truck, Squad, Duty Chief, and a spare bay for storage and training. To accommodate for 24/7/365 staffing of fire apparatus, the station has a commercial-grade kitchen, gym, day/living room, dining table, 5 bathrooms, and showers.
Our live-in program has capacity for 8 private bedrooms and an Officer’s quarters with 3 additional beds, as well as a bunkroom of 6 beds for general members to staff overnight. Additionally, the firehouse has offices for both operational and administrative officers.
